Girl in front of capitol buildingAdrianna N., a sophomore at JSB, was nominated to attend the Presidential Inauguration Leadership Summit.  She, along with other students, participated in various meetings and events while visiting the nation's capital.  The groups worked on problem statements, research, solutions to real life problems the government is facing and prepared an essay on the information they had gathered.  These essays will be presented to President Donald Trump and key members of Congress.  They also saw various speakers, such as General Colin Powell and Spike Lee.  And last, but not least, Adrianna got to be a part of American history  by watching the inauguration in person.
