Washington County Community Scholars are high school students who demonstrate a high level of citizenship and community service, who maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5, and who have 95% attendance (9 days or less absent for any reason.) A student with an out-of-school suspension will not receive recognition for that school year. Twenty hours of documented community service are required on the appropriate form found in the School Counseling Office or downloadable below. Service hours cannot be supervised by a parent or other family member unless approved and signed on the appropriate form by a School Counselor. Community service hours must be completed between July 1st and June 30th each school year.
- Hours for underclassman are due in the School Counseling office the first Friday in September each year for the previous school year. Seniors must complete and turn in documented hours for the current school year by the first Friday in March. Contact the Counseling office with questions about this program at 642-5305.
